WELSH CHAMPION AT THE CLUB !
Well done to Jack Anderson, the latest club member to be crowned Welsh Champion in his weight category. 8 yr old Jack, beat off stiff competition from competitors from all over the U.K to win gold in the over 31 KG primary category at the BJC Welsh Nationals on 1st July. Fantastic achievement and once again a massive well done.
Congratulations too to Kirsty Stuart, a bronze medal winner in the junior female over 60KG category.

WALES v AVON v SOMERSET - Sunday 20th May 2007.
Several of or club members made the trip up to Bristol as part of the Welsh Squad in another high quality event. All of our club members performed with determination and put in creditable performances. Special mention goes to Jack Anderson who gained revenge by easily beating the boy he lost to, 2 weeks earlier at the British Nationals. Lowri Thomas, who despite pre competition nerves gained her first competition victory in the under 23Kg girls category. James Pope (or Senesi Junior to his friends) was also in ruthless form as his opponent retired injured at an early stage in his contest.
Well done to all who took part and heres to next years event scheduled for Somerset.
